Courtesy of a very speedy turn around by Cambridge Triathlon Club with the results from yesterdays Cambridge Duathlon, provisional rankings after the final leg of the British Duathlon Ranking Series are now available.
For the Women, Danielle Stewart has taken the honours in the overall standings, with Julia Myatt in second and Libby Cameron in third.
In the Men's series, Daniel McCarthy has come out on top, Matt Moorehouse finished second at the Cambridge Duathlon to give him second overall in the series, with Carl Ferri taking third place.
We are sure our couse posters helped all the competitors to achieve their best time in the Cambridge Duathlon, bringing the British Duathlon Ranking Series to a close.

2idesign have joined forces with the catering staff at St John's Innovation Centre in a marketing venture. We hope that it will raise awareness around the building of the online menu which is now available.

Microsoft Gamefest Seattle

Gamefest 2010 will be held in Seattle 10th-11th February 2010, where the focus will be on Microsoft's eagerly anticipated Natal technology.
2idesign is pleased to announce that Phonetic Arts will be participating in the event, using brochures and banners that we have designed and produced. A key aspect of Natal is its natural speech interface with games, and Phonetic Arts will be demonstrating its speech technology and showing how this enhances the game experience.

The Fundamentals of Veterinary Science Summer School is an annual programme held at the University of Cambridge, UK.
2idesign had the objective to design a Summer School website which offers veterinary undergraduates the opportunity to consider research-based careers. Following the successful completion of the website, we hope we have impressed the University of Cambridge with a fresh design, that also remains within the guidelines and feel of the University.

Last nitght the Channel 5 show 'The Gadget Show' announced their gadget of the decade! And the winner is... the apple iphone, great choice. Amongst individual category winners: Apple's iPod and iPhone, Adobe's Photoshop Elements, Nintendo's Wii and YouTube.
The Gadget Show returns in February 2010, although a series of internet only shows are available online at five.tv.

Another great website completed by 2idesign. Phonetic Arts delivers technology that generates natural expressive speech, allowing computer games to say any sentence in any type of voice. The CEO Paul Taylor is a recognised world authority on speech technology. Their goal is to free games developers from the constraints of recorded samples and allow them to create rich, expressive and responsive dialog within their games. It's clever stuff...

As I was driving past Marshalls this weekend, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a Red Arrows air show. Like the hoards of other drivers in the area, I pulled over by the side of the road and joined the crowd to watch the spectacle! After watching them tumble, dive and loop-the-loop so meticulously for a full half-hour (heart formation being my favourite stunt), I can safely say I am now a true red arrow convert and will be waiting with baited breath for their next show!
